IT Project Coordinator

Job description / Role

- The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and support of technology projects based around our clients proprietary web-based HR and talent assessment system.
- The IT Project Coordinator will work closely with consultancy and IT project managers to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, budgets and information required for projects.
- You will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling technical queries.
- To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver results to defined timescales.
- Ultimately, the IT Project Coordinator’s duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinates all IT projects and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately.
- Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems.
- Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately.
- Administration and update of the project management system

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management or related discipline (essential)
- Qualifications in project management (desirable) Language Skills
- Expert / native proficiency in written and spoken English (essential)
- Multi-lingual appreciated (Arabic, Indonesian, Spanish in particular)

Required Experience:
- 3-years minimum in technical project coordination and support
- Experience in a web/software development or software testing environment
- Experience as part of an IT consultancy or professional services firm with an IT-focus Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge and track record of applying project management principles, concepts and practices
- Knowledge of system development lifecycle used for the development of new systems and enhancements to existing information systems
- Knowledge of IT concepts and basic operating principles of data communications and information systems hardware and software
