IT Project Manager

Job description / Role

Coordinating and leading interactions with our clients. The Candidate will lead the implementation effort and perform activities coordination between our clients and our partners. The project manager will manage scope, schedule and ensure stakeholders are notified on time and own the ensure client and partners both adhere to the contractual obligations.
The above responsibilities require solid knowledge and skills in the asset management systems implementation.

JOB LOCATION: Dubai – with possible travel in the middle east

JOB SUMMARY: The project manager will share his business and systems expertise to lead the implementation.

• Read the contracts and coordinate with the sales team to ensure clarity on contract deliverables and responsibilities.
• Work with the team from client and partners to ensure every responsible person is aware and clear of their responsibilities and monitor the time line.
• Conduct himself as a leader in the team and provide guidance to client team and partner team.
• Voice the position on SME in project meetings and ensure SME contractual obligations are delivered.
• Control the projects scope and protect SME from scope creep which eventually leads to overbudget.
• Communicate constantly and clearly with the client and partners.
• Maintain a clear follow-up list of actions and actionees and remind team members of their responsibilities.
• Understand the software solutions being delivered and build up his knowledge.

Requirements

PREFERRED Skills:
• Conduct himself as a leader and maintain strong personality
• Clear and crisp communications with clients and partners
• Organized and structured and keep track of all project activities
• Solid understanding of project manager responsibilities
• Good negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and manage project issues
• General systems knowledge and ability to understand business applications and customers requirements.
• Ability to use MS Office tools effectively and other tools that helps maintain a structured and organized list of activities
• PMP Certified is a huge plus
• Knowledge of community management software is a big plus
• Knowledge in ERP solutions and asset management solutions is a plus

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Undergraduate degree,
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business applications, with 3 years project/consulting experience in asset management.
• PMP is a plus
