IT Project Manager

Job description / Role

Working closely with Business and Technology leadership, and the IT PMO this position is responsible for the ensuring that the PMO processes and frameworks are used in the execution of projects from investment initiation through delivery, inclusive of business analysis, resource allocation, demand intake portfolio and project management. They will assist the IT organization in defining and implementing its business plan and goals to support the strategy and goals of the organization

Description

* Work alongside other Business and Technology leadership to effectively Project Manage the delivery of many IT Projects across the business.
* Ensure projects are kept on track, budgets updated and the effective management of Risks, Assumptions, Incidents and Dependencies at a local project level and the wider portfolio of projects in-flight are road mapped
* Coordinate Internal and thirty/party vendors for the execution and delivery of IT projects.
* Responsible for developing project scope, objectives and milestones, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility working with other key members of the Technology team
* Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and cost
* Measure and track project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
* Ensure business planning and purpose is considered in all key IT decisions, and therefore must be involved with the discussion and decision-making process for technology, business and human resource investments on an ongoing basis
* Responsible for inputting to the Technology roadmap, working with both the IT Project Approval Board and the Technology Governance Board to approve, prioritize and plan technology initiatives and projects

Requirements

* PMI/PMP or similar qualifications
* Experience in large scale global IT Projects
* Experience with Sales CRM, ERP, Marketing Campaign Management solutions.
* Excellent requirement gathering capability
* Excellent Organization, Problem solving and negotiation capabilities
* Experience working in a global environment, across numerous functional domains
* Experience leading large process improvement / excellence activities
* Experience driving organizational behaviour based on KPI / KPO
* Experience in developing business or technical strategy in alignment with broader business goal
