IT Purchase Coordinator

Job description / Role

- Coordinating the procurement process for IT equipment and software, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Researching and evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing terms.
- Collaborating with IT teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and determine the most suitable solutions.
- Managing inventory and tracking orders to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assisting with vendor management and maintaining strong relationships.
- Providing support and guidance to end-users regarding IT purchases and procurement policies.
- Monitoring and optimizing purchasing processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Assisting with budget planning and forecasting for IT purchases.

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT procurement or a similar role.
- Industry certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM).
- Experience in the IT industry or familiarity with IT equipment and software.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
