Job description / Role
We at Al Tayer Group are looking for an IT Security Analyst to plan, design, implement and manage IT Security Infrastructure systems, resolve any problems to ensure that the IT infrastructure fully meets the business requirement of Al Tayer Group. To monitor all the security related incidents and ensure proactive support to meet the business requirements of the Group.
Key Responsibilities
• Support IT Network and Security Manager on all security related Projects, monitor project progress through all its phases, resolving issues and initiating corrective actions as appropriate
• Manage, monitor and support IT Security Infrastructure systems including Next Generation Firewalls, Anti-Virus Systems, SIEM, Privileged Access Management Solution, Whitelisting, Web Application Firewalls, Internet Proxy Servers, Database Application Firewalls etc.
• Analyze the reports/dashboards from various security systems and initiate appropriate action
• Support IT Network and Security Manager in identifying key IT Infrastructure security risks, through the implementation of regular vulnerability audits and assessments, and recommend appropriate actions
• Monitor and analyze online user activity; using security tools to identify potential threats to corporate systems and data; determining causes of security violations and responding appropriately to users; reviewing security data to identify patterns and trends which deviate from the norm to ensure that security of IT systems is maintained.
• Monitor and support on all IT Infrastructure security-related operations including system access, segregation of duties, screening, coordination of role changes, leavers and joiners, evaluating and resolving basic user issues and problems related to access and usage of corporate systems and services; troubleshooting problems and researching solutions to a variety of user security issues associated with these requests
• Prioritize and attend to all security related logs ensuring timely completion to facilitate smooth and secure business operations
• Maintain technical and security expertise by researching current industry developments, tools available, trends, new products and technological advances; train stakeholder on aspects of IT security to ensure that awareness of IT Infrastructure security technology and policies is built within the organization
• Ensure change management process is followed for all Security related operations
Requirements
• Graduate or Post Graduate in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized university
• CISSP, CISA, CEH, CISM or other industry standard Security Certifications is mandatory
• Firewalls, Application Delivery Controllers, IPS, Web gateway technical certification
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in security stream managing enterprise security infrastructure
• Knowledge of IT Security Governance
• Working knowledge of SIEM, Database Application Firewalls, Privileged Access Management Solution, Web Application Firewalls etc. is preferred
• Hands-on experience in managing next-generation firewalls, anti-virus solutions, Cloud Proxy systems, VPN concentrators etc. with security mindset
• High technical acumen and diagnostic skill
• Working knowledge of Network/Systems Administration
• Attention to details and concern for quality
• Good diagnostic skills and high technical acumen
• Excellent customer communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding and experience of relevant compliance and security frameworks
