IT & Security System Technician

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable IT & Security Systems Technician to manage and maintain our technology infrastructure and building security systems. This role combines hands-on IT support with the installation and servicing of surveillance equipment, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth network operations while also overseeing the integrity and functionality of all security installations across our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
-Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, access control units, and alarm systems across buildings and sites
-Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, and networking issues
-Troubleshoot and repair security system faults, including camera feeds, recording devices, and sensors
-Monitor system performance and conduct regular inspections of security equipment
-Ensure all security systems are compliant with local safety and data protection regulations
-Maintain documentation of installations, configurations, and maintenance logs
-Coordinate with vendors and contractors for system upgrades and repairs
-Assist in planning and implementing new security infrastructure for upcoming projects
-Respond to emergency technical issues and provide rapid resolution

Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support and security system installation
Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
Familiarity with networking protocols, routers, switches, and IP configurations
Ability to read technical drawings and system schematics
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage
Valid UAE driver’s license (preferred for site mobility)
