Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Duties & responsibilities:
• Manage a High Performance team of security architects, security design analysts, risk specialists & vulnerability management.
• Monitor, control and support service delivery, ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed.
• Ensure appropriate and up to date controls, processes, documentation and procedures are in place and followed.
• Accountable for the quality of service and performance.
• Drive internal and third-party service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes.
• Provide regular and accurate management reporting on service performance against SLA’s
• Own the Incident, Request, Change and Escalation processes, ensuring high levels of performance, accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities when required.
• Manage the escalation process, ensuring coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders and post incident review.
• Manage attrition rate and drive recruitment, including the interview process to maintain a full operational team.
• Manage service cost and cost planning. Manage governance procedures, revenue recognition processes and reporting.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested

Requirements

• In depth knowledge of cyber security standards, frame works and Technologies across all layers of IT infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of IT security architecture design and implementation.
• Working knowledge of managing complex security programs (Cyber Security, Risk Analysis & mitigation ,Security Governance)
• Knowledge of ITIL v3 practitioner professional qualifications.
• Experience in managing a large team (on site & off site)
• Experience of managing IT Security projects.
• Experience in writing executive reports & presentation’s.
• Strong presentation & communication skills.

Skills & Abilities
• To have extensive experience of managing service delivery with internal teams and third-party services on a High Performance environment.
• Consulting and advisory skills with excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Should have excellent leadership and people management skills
• Should have excellent interpersonal and team working skills
• To have excellent customer facing/customer service skills
• To be able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility including shift and out of hours working.
• To be able to manage sensitive and confidential information
• To be able to explain complex technology topics in non-technical language
• Strong stakeholder management as well as the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels.
• To have substantial experience of establishing, monitoring and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Organized, assessing responsibilities for priorities & setting goals.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Processing the managed changes to meet strategic and tactical business objectives.

• Vulnerability Management process
• Security Compliance
• Enterprise Security Architecture

• ITIL,PMP
• CISSP,
• CISM, CRISC
• NIST
• SABSA

Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
