Job description / Role
Adecco Middle East is looking for an IT Support employee with the following responsibilities :
• Responsible for Central IT Server in UAE & Qatar
• On-site and remote Users IT support
• Handling computer set-ups for new comers (emails, network, internet, Adecco web, VPN etc)
• Monitor updates of software programs for all users
• Handling inputs and content of local Intranet
• Create accounts for Adecco Web, Active Directory Users, Intranet
• Update applications on laptops/desktops (java, flash, acrobat)
• Troubleshooting of windows/office issues
• Handling service with Dell, Lenovo etc for equipment in guarantee. Arrange pickup/delivery of the equipment
• Adecco Web and Intranet training to new users
• Research for IT supplies and negotiating deals following policies and budget
• Make weekly and monthly reports according to the new IT Policies
• Implementation of new rules from HQ
• Any other requests of projects comes from HQ
Requirements
• At least 1 year working experience in IT help desk
• Graduate of IT/Computer Science
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to achieve desired results in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
• Ability to interact with various management levels
• Fluent in English
• Energetic, flexible, team working spirit
• Degree/Diploma in IT will be considered as an asset
• Driving licence
• Available immediately to work in UAE
