IT Support Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and tech-savvy IT Support Engineer to join our IT Managed Services team in Dubai. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of IT experience with expertise in Microsoft administration, networking, security, and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities
• Microsoft Administration (SPO, Exchange, Office 365):
• New tenant setup and tenant migrations
• User account creation, Azure AD management
• Domain setup (MX records, Office 365 integration) and domain issue diagnosis
• Exchange account issue tracking and resolution
• OneDrive and SharePoint setup/management
• 365 and SharePoint security/dynamic groups
• Intune setup and MDM management

Networking:
• Manage SonicWall and Fortigate firewalls, Edge Router, UDM (Unifi Dream Machine), and other enterprise-grade routers/APs
• Switch configuration, management, and troubleshooting
• VPN setup and management, conditional access on firewalls
• IT Infrastructure & User Support:
• Printer/scanner setup and management
• Desktop and laptop support (hardware & software)
• Antivirus and endpoint protection management
• Email security platforms (Mimecast, Mail Assure)

Additional IT Services:
• Windows Server administration (DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V, Windows Backup, clustering, failover)
• Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, VirtualBox)
• Server and NAS setup, RAID configuration (Synology/QNAP)
• Backup configuration and management (Nakivo, Veeam, Skykick)

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):
• Experience with Mac environments
• IP Telephony (Avaya, Grandstream)
• CCTV systems (Hikvision)
• UAE Driving License
• Linux server administration

Key Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of IT support/administration experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, networking, and security platforms
• Excellent communication skills with fluent English
• Strong problem-solving skills and a client-focused attitude

Salary:
AED 4,000 to 5,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
