IT Support Officer

Job description / Role

Universal Rubber Belt Manufacturing LLC is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Services professional to provide technical assistance and support to our staff across departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving hardware/software issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level support for hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues via phone, email, or in-person support.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across internal systems and applications.
• Perform routine system monitoring, data backups, and antivirus updates.
• Support and maintain LAN/WAN, internet connectivity, and network security.
• Assist in the implementation of new systems, upgrades, and IT projects.
• Maintain documentation of IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and asset inventory.
• Liaise with third-party vendors for software/hardware procurement or warranty support.
• Ensure IT compliance with company policies and data security standards.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles (preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting).
• Good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office Suite, networking fundamentals, and printer management.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or other platforms) is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Salary:
AED 3,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
