Role Summary:
As Project Planner, you will be responsible for leading scheduling efforts for a large complex Integrated Well Service projects, serving as an active member of the Project Management Team. The Project Planner will support the Project Manager to ensure overall project success, by means overall schedule quality, accuracy and on-time delivery in the areas of well and surface facilities.

Essential Responsibilities:
As a subject matter expert, you will assist troublesome projects and drive the implementation of standardization, best practices & schedule monitoring systems, while ensuring proper handover of tender schedules to operations & regional teams. The Project Planner is required to organize, plan, coordinate and implement the project schedule efforts throughout the planning, startup, mobilization and operational phases of the project. Essential Responsibilities
• Schedule management: the planner is in charge of the overall project schedule management ensuring its quality (logic, clarity) and accuracy (update of dates, reflexion of the scope of supply). Develops the integrated services project schedule, based on contract scope requirements, in cooperation with all involved scope owner parties (Partners, Subcontractors, Vendors, etc), to establish optimal work sequences. Develop overall Scheduling KPIs (on time delivery, key milestones, key commodity physical progress etc).
• Coordination: the planner will be collaborating with the other planners (BHGE product lines etc.) allocated to the project as well as with the execution functions (engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, 3rd party, operations, services, etc) to ensure overall quality and accuracy of the project schedule.
• Integration of Product Lines and partner’s sub-schedule into overall project schedule. Define schedule interface points, templates & process for effective schedule integration / update.
• Project management support: the planner is the right hand person of the project manager and as such will provide him/her visibility on:

- Look ahead of tasks to be performed in the 3 – 6 weeks
- Risks in schedules and mitigation actions
- Opportunities in the schedule. The planner will provide relevant reports to project management to ensure the Project Manager has all the tools required to make the right decisions driving on time and on budget project execution.

• Support with Customer: the planner will interact with the customer to provide update on schedule as well as explain the current situation / challenges / opportunities.
• Implementation of the integrated project planning initiative: the planner will adhere to the approved processes and proactively drive implementation of new initiatives leading to fully integrated planning.
• Develops, updates and delivers the Client Schedule and Client Monthly Report.
• Organize monthly ‘schedule deep dives’ providing guidance & insights to project and senior management participates in client meetings on planning, scheduling, and progress matter.
• Proactively manages internal and external project activities by closely monitoring the critical paths and the project float.
• Assist troubled projects in execution and support the development of EoT claims.
• Accountable for delivery and continued maintenance of the Project Schedule and all sub schedules and tasks of the project during the various project phases.
• In cooperation with the Project Manager, define and implement project planning strategies and tools. Build & maintain project templates by plant configuration. Work with relevant functions to maintain durations up to date. Build a registry of historical lead times & lesson learned.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Extensive experience in a Project Controls (scheduling and cost control) function including execution of several projects with significant site exposure
• Knowledgeable on earned value analysis
• Experience in cost control management.
• Experience in Extension of time claims / forensic planning.
• Experience in delivering planning/scheduling/project control training.
• Clear thinking: Ability to understand the status of a project and link the schedule to the reality of the execution. The planner will quickly understand the risks and opportunities in the schedule, identify and drive appropriate actions.
• Motivation and work ethic: High energy and motivation to deliver against and beyond expectations, making the difference in the position.
• Knowledge of oil field services principles and work processes in an engineering, procurement and third party.
• Degree in (well, drilling or petroleum) engineering preferred ~5 yrs. experience in Oil & Gas Industry, preferably with Operator or Drilling Contractor.
• Experience planning projects for onshore or offshore well construction.
• Proficient at assessing large, complex projects and formulating clear milestones, disciplined timelines and coordinated scheduling.
• Expertise and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Effective communicator able to communicate clearly across all product lines, contractors at various levels.
• Resilient and ability to work under pressure.
• Demonstrates ability to take initiative and make independent decisions.
