• This position is to join our growing team based in Dubai and should be ready for short travel to client countries
Responsibilities
• The ideal candidate should be a hands-on experience as architect with more than 10 years of experience, who shall lead complex projects and ensures the success of enterprise-level application roll outs.
• Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts reviews, documents current systems and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the applications.
• Consults with senior IT management on the design of moderately complex systems and projects.
• May consult with leadership on emerging technologies.
• Supports existing business systems applications for level 3 issues.
• Works with senior management to define and develop technology strategy.
• Independently works with functional and business units to execute strategy.
Requirements
Requirements
• Professional Degree at College of Engineering and Technology or equivalent
• Certifications are preferable.
• Should have 10+ Yrs of experience in end-to-end solution architect and related IT experience in Ports, Logistics, SCM or Customs Processing domains
• 4 years of experience in architect and technical lead roles in Java, J2ee technologies
• Expert with Java/J2EE. Java back-end developers. Experience with Java 8, Play Framework.
• Expertise in object-oriented development utilizing GoF design patterns and best practices. Experience developing and optimizing JPA or Hibernate ORM.
• Use of data profiling methods to analyse data sources. Experience in AWS services and development life cycle of applications in AWS. Experience in AWS data tools and technologies.
• Experience in ETL process design and development
• NoSQL/SQL and database design experience. Object-Oriented Design experience
• Should have experience in Microservices, Spring boot and Containers like Docker
• Hands-on experience in Microservices/REST is absolutely essential
• At least 3 years of experience working on re-architecture/technology uplift/reasonably large development project(s) involving Angular, Spring, Microservices etc.,
• Good knowledge of implementation approaches using Big Data, IoT, and BlockChain
• Promoting open standards and open source culture within organizations in line with adopting key technology trends including cloud workload, and DevOps.
• Possesses broad based and in-depth knowledge of complex technologies, open source libraries / frameworks, tools, methodologies, the enterprise and industry.
• Strong understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies knowledge to support the needs of critical systems and projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are must.
