Joinery Draftsman

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Joinery Draftsman to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans for custom joinery and woodwork projects, ensuring designs meet client specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed and accurate joinery drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements.
- Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Modify and revise designs based on feedback and site conditions.
- Assist in preparing material lists and cost estimates for joinery projects.
- Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.

- Proven experience as a Joinery Draftsman or similar role in a construction or interior fit-out environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of joinery methods, materials, and woodworking techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Educational background in drafting, carpentry, or related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with local building codes and standards in the UAE is a plus.

Salary:
AED 7,000 to 9,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
