Job description / Role

Position Title: Junior Accountant
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 4.5K AED depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location: Dubai, UAE

About the Client:
The hiring company is a Dubai based number one leisure golf club

Job Role:
• Collect, verify and reconcile on daily basis cash sales envelop and cheques from drop safe of all outlets
• Ensure all foreign currencies received are separated, packed and stored in a safe place for periodic banking
• Perform surprise cash count or spot checks at all outlets
• Prepare and share daily banking summary with supporting documents to Income Audit Supervisor or Financial Controller’s
• Coordinate daily with bank and arrange denominations for outlets operation
• Update daily banking information related to denomination and cheque and bank transfer summary figures in sales workbook
• Verify physical receipts from SAP reports and escalate any missing receipts
• Help and guide the outlets regarding any technical support for credit card, POS, etc.
• Maintain proper stock of bank deposit slips, blank vouchers and credit card rolls with the Income Auditor
• Ensure payment of petty cash is made after the approval by the Income Audit Supervisor or Financial Controller
• Prepare summary for disbursement of petty cash and claim the same by cash cheque

Requirements

Requirements:
• Open to Asian nationals
• 40 years old and below
• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
• At least 2 years of experience in the same role in hospitality industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Candidates who can start immediately will be prioritized
