We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant - UAE National, reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

About the role:

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
• Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities
• Participate in audits and assist with documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making

About you

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment

Desirable skills & experience

• Internship or academic project experience in accounting or finance
• Strong work ethic and desire to grow professionally
