Junior Accountant

Job Summary
The Junior Accountant supports the accounting department by assisting with daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role is ideal for entry-level or early-career professionals seeking to develop accounting skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Record daily financial transactions and journal entries
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Assist in maintaining general ledger accounts

Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Assist in processing supplier invoices and payment vouchers
• Record customer invoices and receipts
• Support monitoring of outstanding receivables and payables

Reconciliation & Documentation
• Assist in preparing basic financial reports and schedules
• Maintain organized filling of accounting documents
• Support audit preparation by providing required documents

Compliance & Coordination
• Follow company accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 - 2 years of accounting experience

Skills
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team
• Good communication and time-management skills

Salary:
AED 2,500 to 3,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
