Job description / Role
Junior Accountant up to 6k Aed for Transportation Company in Sharjah
• Provide support to the accounts department by managing daily accounting tasks
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Calculate components of outstanding balances from full statement of account
• Pull supporting documents from physical old documents and scanned new documents for legal team for cases
• Check and preparing summaries of petrol, salik and fines deductions
• Download fines details for drivers from company’s system etc.
Requirements
• POSITION: Junior Accountant
• SALARY: 6,000 AED full package depending on qualifications
• HIRING COMPANY: Transportation
• LOCATION: Sharjah, UAE
• AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately (Start date: 3rd November 2019)
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temporary role (6 months)
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to Indian and Filipino nationals
• Male, 35 years old and below
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any related certification
• At least 1-2 year experience in accounting field
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software (Tally, Quickbooks, Peachtree and etc.,)
