Job description / Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the inspection and testing of automotive parts and components to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine checks, including visual inspections, dimensional checks, and functional testing, using measurement tools and equipment.
- Analyze inspection data and prepare reports to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Support the investigation and resolution of quality issues, including root cause analysis.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to monitor production processes and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and production processes to ensure product quality.
- Assist in preparing documentation for quality audits and certifications (ISO, IATF, etc.).
- Participate in the development and implementation of corrective actions when necessary to improve product quality.
- Ensure all testing procedures and protocols are followed in accordance with company standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with other departments such as production, R&D, and logistics to maintain quality across the supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
- Knowledge of automotive standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic understanding of computer software (MS Office, CAD software is a plus).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of automotive quality control.
Preferred Skills:
- Internship or previous work experience in automotive quality control or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with automotive testing equipment and software.
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
