Junior Business Development Officer

Adecco are proud to be partnering with one of the world’s largest shipping & logistics company. We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Junior Business Development Officer to join the high performing team. This role is part of the Emiratization program. You will need to be a UAE National to be successful.

Job Summary:
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. This will include Transport, Cargo, Shipping, logistics, etc. You will be creative and enjoy working across the region to collaborate and strategize with your colleagues.

Responsibilities:
• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction for new and existing clients.
• Be in close contact with regional Procurement teams and pricing strategies.
• Manage quarterly selling rates reviews to meet budgets and expectations.
• Liaising with Procurement and Operations to manage performance and delivery.
• Understanding the current market trends, benchmarking and reporting.
• Promote new products and services across all clients in the region.

Qualifications:
• Higher Education/Postgraduate degree would be preferred
• Good management, interpersonal ability with excellent communication skills
• A hunger to drive sales, exceed expectations of budgets and targets and to constantly deliver to customers.
• Must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• An analytical ability to create, understand and report on budgets and market trends
• Proven business management experience, commercial mindset.

Requirements

Qualifications:
