Job description / Role
In this role the successful candidate will support the Executive Assistant to the CEO of a manpower organisation in the humanitarian sector. Our client is an award-winning provider of support to conflict affected countries and communities on the ground across the MENA region. Due to taking on a new project and continued success in their industry, there is a need for a Junior EA to take up the business continuity functions.
Working closely alongside the EA to the CEO, you will be involved in ensuring all office functions run efficiently and fully support all departments with regards to pantry and stationary supplies and equipment maintenance and up-keep. There is no dedicated reception area, however it is expected that this role will encompass meeting and greeting visitors, organising meeting room schedules and facilities and provide a strong client focus when visitors arrive at the office. Part of this role will also include the management of visas for those individuals whom travel across the region and administration of HR functions such as annual leave tracking, absence monitoring and retention and update of personnel files. The Junior EA will also assist with travel arrangements and diary management including expenses and any last minute and emergency changes to the team’s schedules.
Ideally, we are seeking those in an Administrative or Receptionist role looking for their first step into an Executive Assistant career. You should always be able to work at a fast and efficient pace with precision and attention to detail. In terms of personality you will be confident and proactive to fully assist the Executive Assistant and have the capability to work both alone and in a team. Our client is a fantastic organisation with a strong people centric focus and the successful individual will gain great knowledge from this experienced and professional Executive Assistant and the wider team.
