Job description / Role
Global Village is looking to hire a freelance Graphic Designer for 5 months, who can create on-brand graphics for a variety of media and help adapt, resize and customize to all requirements and finalize artwork. Candidates must have a valid UAE residency (not on visit visa), and able to keep the visa for the entire 5 months. Scope will also cover adapting visuals to website, social media & Digital Screens.
Objective & Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Senior Designer to properly understand the full in-park scope and be agile and fast in delivering work
• Adapt visuals based on requirements
• Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic and follow given guide list
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Prepare final artwork to release for production
Requirements
Principal Accountabilities /Key Result Areas:
• Proven graphic designing experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Illustrator, Photoshop InDesign and Animation Software)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines and be able to work for long hours
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
Experience:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Graphic Design.
Skills:
• Expert in Adobe Photoshop.
• Expert in Adobe Illustrator.
• Expert in InDesign.
• Very flexible with time in order to meet deadlines and timeframes. Working days are 6 days a week (flexible working hours).
