Junior Procurement Officer - UHNWI / VVIP Client

Job description / Role

A well-established Family Office in the UAE is seeking a Junior Procurement Officer to support both business and personal procurement requirements. This role requires a professional with 3 to 4 years of experience, strong knowledge of the UAE local market, and exposure to global purchasing.

• The ideal candidate must be independent, resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that supports investment-related purchasing as well as family needs.
• Handle local and global purchasing for business and family requirements.
• Source and negotiate for specialty items including:
• Watches (Global)
• Silverware (Europe)
• Artwork (Europe)
• Cars from Europe/America
• Olive oil and specialty items from various countries
• Marble/fit out materials from Asia
• Assist with procurement for family-owned farms including materials and plants.
• Perform manual procurement processes using Excel (no procurement system).
• Coordinate logistics for local and international suppliers.
• Support the family’s properties (including palaces) when necessary.
• Manage contractor negotiations and ensure timely delivery of items.
• Travel abroad when required for sourcing or inspections.
• Support investment-related procurement activities.

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• 3–4 years of procurement experience (UAE experience required).
• Strong knowledge of local suppliers, markets, and pricing trends.
• Global purchasing exposure is highly preferred.
• Ability to negotiate confidently.
• Must have a valid UAE driving license (company car provided).
• Arabic-speaking is an advantage (preferred).
• Background in construction procurement can be considered.
• Must be independent, adaptable, and able to work without constant supervision.
• Must be willing to travel and visit farms when needed.
• Immediate availability is a strong advantage.
