As a junior sales analyst, you will be in a central position as you will be evangelizing data and our methodologies to other functional analysts and other stakeholders in the company. You will have close interaction with teams in marketing, sales, the BI team, finance, and product. You will work in a fast-paced environment that is professional, international, and entrepreneurial.

In this role you will:

• Access data, construct and manipulate large datasets to support planned analyses using queries and formulas
• Design and develop dashboards
• Help with defining KPI metrics and drive data governance through standardisation and communication
• Extract data and share it with stakeholders using dashboards, reports, or Google Sheets
• Develop analysis and reporting capabilities; monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
• Responsible for data quality and timely delivery of reports that make common business sense
• Participate in analytics and reporting trainings to evangelise data across the department
• Be able to work autonomously without supervision
• Share reporting on operational performance to provide insights to streamline processes
• Provide sales and account managers with appropriate insight into issues and opportunities associated with their accounts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field
• Minimum of two years of work experience in analytics, having closely worked with products and commercials in an internet or e-commerce company
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and queries
• Good analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Good attention to detail
• Written and verbal proficiency in English
• Proactive and passionate: independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, and delivering high-quality results in challenging situations
• Passion for data and metrics
• Hands-on attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment
