Junior Support Engineer

Job description / Role

We are looking for a talented Junior Support Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:
• Provide level-1 support to end-users.
• Manage the user creations and security management for Sage applications.
• Identify and manage the report needs of the business on a daily, periodical, and annual basis.
• Troubleshoot application issues from the configurations and functional perspective · Assess and identify the application functions based on new and changing business needs/ requirements.
• Documenting the defined process and managing the application training manuals.
• Installing patches & software upgrades.
• Support during and after the implementation of third-party application system integrations.
• Coordinate with associated Business partners/vendors on the L3 product issues.
• Coordinate the regular upgrades with the vendor.
• Manage the License information of servers and applications.
• Regular backing up of the data as per company policy.
• Testing the customizations supplied by vendors based on Change requests.
• Supporting the user acceptance tests for the customizations based on change requests.
• Maintain master data, cleansing, and data migration ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Coordinate the development of related systems and applications in line with an agreed software development lifecycle (SDLC) process.
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends.
• Liaise with Security admin on ERP security vulnerabilities and security patching.

• B.Com, BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
• 3 - 5 years of experience
• Experience in any ERP System.
• Experience in SOAP and REST web services APIs and testing tools.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL Queries
• Experience in the development of applications using Dotnet or other programming language.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Function knowledge of finance, supply chain, and fixed assets will be a plus.
