Job description / Role
We are looking for a friendly, and motivated PHP developer with great potential to discover, analyze, and come up with solutions for any challenge. The right candidate will be confident in developing, implementing, and maintaining web-based applications using modern web application building tools and frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, record, and maintain web-based PHP applications and portals using an MVC architecture.
- Building innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Interface and User Experience team to build enjoyable applications.
- Ensure HTML, CSS, and Javascript is valid and consistent across applications.
- Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
- Able to research, understand, and utilize at will new plugins and open-source technologies to enhance existing applications.
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
- Able to understand the big picture of a full business process in order to evaluate points of automation.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related subject
- Proficient in PHP, HTML5, Javascript, jQuery
- Experience with a PHP MVC framework
- Experience with Search Engine Optimization
- Hands on Angular, CouchDB or MongoDB
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL
- Experience with building RESTful APIs such as JSON web services
- Knowledge of common APIs such as Twitter API, Google API, Instagram etc..
- Understanding of Responsive Design frameworks such as Bootstrap.
