Junior Traffic Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Junior Traffic Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of traffic engineering projects, ensuring the efficient flow of traffic and promoting safety on roadways. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and review of traffic impact studies and transportation planning documents.
- Conduct traffic data collection and analysis using various tools and methodologies.
- Assist in the design and implementation of traffic signal systems, signage, and pavement markings.
- Support the evaluation and implementation of traffic management strategies to improve traffic flow and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate transportation solutions into urban development projects.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and proposals for traffic engineering projects.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in traffic engineering.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with a focus on transportation engineering.
- Solid understanding of traffic engineering principles, traffic signal operations, and transportation planning concepts.
- Proficient in traffic analysis software such as Synchro, VISSIM, and HCS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and apply transportation engineering standards and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with the capacity to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and guidelines such as MUTCD, AASHTO, and ITE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or eligibility for licensure is a plus.
- Previous internship or work experience in traffic engineering or related field is advantageous.
