Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Highly motivated professional willing to learn multiple aspects of the business
• Passionate and self-motivated designer with an affinity for the urban scale and planning. You enjoy the big picture process of shaping the setting for successful developments but understand the art of constructing buildings
• Inventive - You know how to transform research to support and create innovative and thoughtful design
• Thrive in the pre-design phase but you also understand the organization and components of a construction document package
• Graphically savvy- Your variety of software expertise helps strengthen the communication of design

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in urban design, city planning, architecture, or landscape architecture
• 1+ years professional experience
• A strong portfolio of work
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision on routinetasks, but you still enjoy a participative approach to projects and are able to harmoniously collaborate in a team environment
• Demonstrated creative ability, including urban, landscape/architectural, and graphic design
• Effective oral, written and graphic communication skills
• Demonstrated understanding of placemaking and community design
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, schedule and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator, Photoshop, lnDesign, MS Office; fluency in Rhino a plus

• Generate ideas and assist in developing final deliverable documents and general input to design
• Incorporate the services designed by consultants, assist in coordination and provide consultants with documentation.
• Assist with business development initiatives and special projects
• Work to a program for the project and proactively advise Senior team members of any issue which affects the efficient completion of the project
• Attend meetings with outside parties (e.g., clients, consultants, contractors) under supervision of Project Leadership-develop relationships.
• Develop an awareness of internal project budgets, project scheduling, and otherprofessional practice issues.
• Perform documentation and presentation work, including 3D modelling, illustrative plans, diagrams, spreadsheets, scale comparisons and visualizations
• Assign work to Graduate (Landscape Architects or urban designers), BIM technicians and Administrative staff

Salary:
AED 16,000 to 19,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
