Junior Web Developer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Programmer / Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for website development and management, utilizing Word Press and Shopify. You will collaborate with management to customize themes, manage web content, and integrate various applications. The role also involves optimizing website performance and ensuring smooth operation across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development:
• Design and develop websites using WordPress and Shopify.
• Customize front-end and back-end features according to management's requests.

Website Replication:
• Replicate websites for different countries as needed.

Coding Standards:
• Write clean HTML and advanced CSS to meet web standards.

Domain and Hosting Management:
• Select domains and manage website hosting services.

Website Management:
• Oversee and update websites including sapguae.com, sapil.com, and swissarabian.com.

Promotions and Discounts:
• Create and manage promotion and discount codes across all sites.

Application Integration:
• Integrate and execute applications on the Shopify platform.

Social Media Integration:
• Implement pixel tracking for various social media sites.

Content Updates:
• Update banners and product information in English and Arabic, coordinating with the D365 team for data pushing.

Order and Stock Management:
• Handle order cancellations and product stock updates in collaboration with country-specific staff (excluding UK and France).

Cloudflare Management:
• Manage Cloudflare settings and configurations.

Google My Business:
• Manage Google My Business listings for all GCC sites.

Search Console Updates:
• Update Google Search Console in line with new site launches.

Payment and Shipment Integration:
• Integrate payment and shipment gateways on all sites and troubleshoot errors.

Marketing Management:
• Execute email marketing and SMS campaigns using platforms such as Dengage and Mailchimp.

Website Optimization:
• Conduct website and speed optimization to enhance performance.

Analytics Reporting:
• Provide Shopify marketing analytics reports and track code usage for various applications.

• Proven experience in web development, specifically with WordPress and Shopify.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools.
• Experience with Google My Business and Google Search Console.
• Knowledge of email marketing platforms and SMS marketing tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
