Employment: Full Time

A global consumer electronics business based in Dubai is seeking a Key Account Manager to maintain and grow key domestic retailers in both Kuwait and Qatar. This person will be required to grow and manage existing accounts by presenting new ranges and updating partners' portfolios. Strategic planning is a key part of this role and requires thorough knowledge of the market and the range/service the business can provide.

Existing Partnerships:
* Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
* Work with internal colleagues to meet retailers needs i.e. logistics, marketing, sales staff
* Arrange and participate in internal and external training sessions
* Coordinate strategies with current brands and align with retailers

New Business Development:
* Prospect for potential new retailers (especially within the carrier space) and turn this into increased business
* Identify potential partners and the decision makers within the organisations
* Plan approaches and pitches
* Work with the team to develop proposals that speaks to the retailer's needs, concerns, and objectives
* Participate in pricing the proposition to the retailers

Business Development Planning:
* Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
* Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products and distribution channels
* Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
* Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators

Management and Research:
* Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate
* Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met
* Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets
* Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites are fulfilled within a timely manner
* Understand the company's goal and purpose so that they will continue to enhance performance

Requirements

* Educated to a degree level
* 5 years sales or marketing experience
* Arabic speaking
* Previous experience within consumer electronics will be beneficial
