Key Account Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager / Business development manager, to join our logistics team in Jebel Ali, Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships to drive company growth in the competitive logistics sector.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the logistics industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their logistics needs.
- Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.

- Proven 4+ years of experience as a Key account manager / Business development manager or similar role in the logistics industry
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management concepts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a goal-oriented approach to work.
- Ability to build and sustain client relationships effectively.
- Fluency in English
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to work in Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE.
