Looking for a practical, hands-on role that gives you full business exposure and the opportunity to grow one of the most exciting start-ups into a massive business?

Helpling is the leading online platform for on-demand home services. We are an intermediary platform that matches customers with cleaners. Through our platform/app, customers can book a cleaner in only 60 seconds.
We launched our Middle East operations in 2015 in Dubai, and we are looking for a passionate and capable Key Account & BD Manager to oversee our business operations.

Helpling is a Rocket Internet and MEIG backed venture, currently active in more than 200 cities in nine countries around the globe, where we serve thousands of customers every day.

You will be part of a very International Helpling and Rocket Internet Team. You will be surrounded by young, smart and hard-working professionals who are very passionate about the startup environment. Small team and lots of responsibilities. The roles often overlap and we all work as a team.

Requirements

We are looking for a self-reliant self-starter who enjoys entrepreneurial work. As the Key Account Manager & Business Development Manager, you will work across key departments to help develop and manage the relationships with our network of cleaning service providers. This is a hands-on opportunity to build upon your strong track record in relationship management and will but will also provide a strong inside into Marketing and other departments of Helpling.

The Key Account Manager & Business Development Manager will work closely with the Operations and Managing Director of Helpling. The successful candidate will have the flexibility and reach to influence and revolutionize the whole household market in the Middle East.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Manage and develop the relationship with our business partners
• Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
• Implement policies to business partners and improve the quality standards and taking corrective action when needed
• Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and quality
• Coordinate with team members to ensure optimal performance of our customer service
• Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives

Requirements
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
• Degree qualified
• Minimum 2 years B2B experience in service industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and exceptional assertive abilities
• Ability to handle complex negotiations with senior-level executives
• High-level time management and organization skills
• A business-focused way of thinking and a strong hands-on, results driven mentality
• Driver’s License important.
• An entrepreneurial spirit – passionate about the start-up scene and ready to roll up your sleeves to build the next Dubai success story!
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written English & Arabic skills a must
• Flexibility – comfortable working with people from a variety of backgrounds
• A sense of humor
