This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, positive and influential Sales Manager with an FMCG or hospitality background who wishes to join a very high profile organization managing the sales and marketing of a range of premium global beverages in the Middle East. The company is dedicated to bringing choice and quality to the hospitality industry through a range of innovative promotional strategies in hotels and restaurants, as well as at music and sporting events. With a market share of 60% in Dubai, it is the leading operator in the UAE, as well as Oman, Bahrain and Qatar.

The Key account Manager will report to the Head of Sales and have direct supervision of the On Trade Sales Team of 6 employees. The company expects high standards of service and strong commercial awareness to deliver sustainable volume and gross profit by key customer planning and management, influencing and networking to ensure a fast route to the Dubai on-trade market.

With at least 4 years of sales experience in FMCG or hospitality and a strong command of the English language you will possess excellent communication skills. Previous experience in territory and staff management is essential.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be responsible for profit and loss, optimizing the ROI and develop, present and negotiate annual contracts with the use of the six steps of the call approach - planning and preparation, pre call check, in call check, selling presentation, merchandise, administration and evaluation. The Key Account Manager is also responsible for all POS and merchandising of the key brands, delivering perfect execution at all times.

You will have a strong knowledge of route to market profitability, evaluating ROI of customers’ investments, managing budgets and management of product customer mix to maximize GP net and EBIT. Excellent customer management is required to be able to adapt to each environment and the needs of the customer alongside strong selling and negotiation and networking skills to increase the market share. Excellence in execution is vital to ensure a clear understanding from the customer and to obtain future repeat business. As you will be meeting customers out in the field a UAE driving license is essential for this role.
