Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities include:

Operational:
• Evaluate import and export rough diamond shipments in accordance with the Kimberley Process (KP) Certification Scheme policies and procedures.
• Ensure the authenticity of the KP certificates upon imports
• Coordinate with the clients and clearing agents for proper documentation and any discrepancies in the shipment prior import and export.
• Maintain accuracy in clearing shipments with no delays.
• Collaborate with KP participant countries.
• Report any suspicious activities to the KP Manager.
• Ensure compliance of the traders with the KP policies and procedures.

Customer Focus:
• Educate and train new traders on the complete policies and procedures of the UAE KP Office
• Assist walk in clients
• Responsible for giving response upon customers’ complains, as well as giving the solution
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries in person or via telephone, letter, and e-mail – always in a professional & efficient manner

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who has 2-5 years experience in diamond evaluation and has a strong customer support background.

To be considered for this role, you need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline and a certificate/diploma in diamond evaluation.
