L/S Equity Business Services Analyst

Job description / Role

We are currently representing an exciting and growing hedge fund who are looking to add a long/short equity analyst to their team in Dubai, to focus on the business services sector.

The role:

To work with a top portfolio manager to help conduct thorough research analysis and modeling including fundamental research, technicals, market sentiment and news and flow impact, etc. Coverage of 40-60 names across business services, industrials, semiconductors, and autos. Have equal amount of long and short ideas.

The requirements:

• Degree from leading university in finance, economics, engineering, computer sciences, and/or math.
• Good communication skills to collaborate both within and across teams.
• Prior experience in equity research either on the sellside or buyside, focusing on relevant sectors.
• Passion for public market investing, especially from a long/short perspective.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
