Labelling And Compliance Specialist

Job description / Role

We are currently seeking a Labelling & Compliance Specialist for a company in the food and confectionery industry based in Al Quoz, Dubai. This newly created position focuses on ensuring product labelling and documentation meet UAE and GCC regulatory standards as the company continues to expand its product range across the region.

* Manage and ensure product label compliance with UAE and GCC municipality requirements.
* Prepare and maintain documentation for product registration and approvals.
* Liaise with authorities and third-party labs for certification and label verification.
* Coordinate with suppliers and designers to ensure correct ingredient and allergen declarations.
* Keep updated with changes in GCC labelling and food safety regulations and communicate them internally.
* Additional tasks related to municipality approvals, product registration, or other similar regulatory responsibilities may also be assigned as needed.

* Strong knowledge of food labelling standards and documentation procedures in GCC countries.
* Proficient in English (Arabic is an advantage).
* Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple product lines.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills.
