Land Surveyor

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of land surveying principles, practices, and regulations, and will be responsible for conducting precise measurements, analyzing data, and preparing reports for various construction and development projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and legality of land boundaries and will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using advanced surveying equipment and technology, including GPS, total stations, and laser scanners.
- Prepare site plans, maps, and reports that detail survey findings and measurements.
- Analyze and interpret survey data to establish legal boundaries, topography, and site features.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide surveying support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to land surveying.
- Maintain detailed records of surveys, including notes, sketches, and photographs.
- Review and verify survey documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements and deliverables.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior surveying staff as needed.
- Stay updated on new surveying technologies, techniques, and industry trends.

- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Land Surveyor in a contracting or construction environment From UAE only.
- Strong proficiency in using surveying instruments and software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and surveying field equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of land surveying principles, methods, and legal regulations in the UAE.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional certification or licensure as a Land Surveyor is preferred.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality in all surveying activities.

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
