Land Surveyor

Job description / Role

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Land Surveyor to join our dynamic construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in accurately measuring and mapping land features to support construction projects, ensuring precision and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed land surveys using specialized equipment and software to collect accurate data.
- Prepare survey maps, reports, and documentation to support construction planning and execution.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure survey data aligns with project requirements.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or challenges encountered during the surveying process.
- Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with local laws, regulations, and safety standards.

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Land Surveyor within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE or Middle East region.
- Proficiency in using surveying tools such as total stations, GPS equipment, and relevant software like AutoCAD and GIS.
- Strong understanding of topographic, boundary, and construction surveying techniques.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of UAE land regulations and health & safety standards is highly desirable.
