Landscape Architect

Job description / Role

The Landscape Architect will be responsible for overseeing and managing all landscape architecture
activities in a transportation project as a client representative. This role involves validating the design
provided by contractors, ensuring compliance with landscape architecture standards, and providing
support during the construction supervision phase.

-Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.

Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 – 15+ years of experience in landscape architecture, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of landscape architecture principles, construction contracts, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple landscape aspects and stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification principles is desirable.
- Experience working in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries is advantageous.
- Similar experience in a large transportation/infrastructure project will be a desirable.
