Landscape Digital Delivery Manager

Job description / Role

We are currently looking for a Landscape digital Delivery Manager to join our team in The Dubai office.

• Be primarily responsible for production of all deliverables in all required formats including BIM.
• Manage production of landscape architectural design work design deliverables with CAD / BIM team, landscape architects and designers to document site work designs for complex urban mixed-use projects in a variety of 2D and 3D programs including AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, Revit and the full BIM environment.
• Review, estimate, and give input into delivery schedules and levels of effort required to produce deliverables, including assessment of potential need to secure out-of-house services.
• With help and supervision of the Sector BIM Manager, implement the integration of policies and procedures for digital transformation into the landscape architecture department’s working methods and day-to-day work processes.
• Educate, mentor, and troubleshoot CAD technicians, 3D modeling / visualization technicians, and junior designers to learn to operate BIM productively and how to comply with internal and external requirements and expectations, including the Landscape Department’s ability to pass initial and annual Autodesk BIM certification audits and evaluations
• With help and supervision of the Sector BIM Manager, work with Landscape Architects, PM’s and design managers to adopt new ways of working which are compliant with internal and external requirements. Help the Landscape Department move from 0% to 100% compliant with requirements and expectations for BIM deliverables both internal to Parsons and external to our clients, public and private.

Requirements

• Expert (strongly proficient, fluent, fast, no need for external support) in BIM, CIVIL3D, REVIT, ACAD and MicroStation. Familiarity with other modeling and rendering software including Rhino, Grasshopper, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, 3D Studio Max would be a plus.
• Degree in landscape architecture or architecture or related field would be a plu
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a landscape architecture office
• Experience in international design office; Middle East experience preferred
• Good technical, interpersonal, communication, and organization skills

ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Have good time management skills to ensure fast and efficient production of finished outputs, meeting deadlines, and estimating the amount of time it will take to do a given assignment. This includes the estimation of additional resource requirements, if any: staff time (regular time and overtime), hardware, and software. Advise management on estimation of level of effort for BIM for proposals.
