Landscape Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the development of functional and visually appealing outdoor spaces that complement urban and suburban environments.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop landscape plans in collaboration with architects and construction teams.
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies to ensure optimal use of space and resources.
- Select appropriate materials, plant species, and construction methods suited to the local climate and environment.
- Prepare cost estimates, project timelines, and manage budgets efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards throughout project execution.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to monitor progress and maintain quality control.
- Provide technical support and guidance during the construction and installation phases.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in landscape engineering and sustainable practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field min. 5 years exp must
- Proven experience in landscape design and project management within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of plant biology, soil science, and environmental regulations specific to the UAE.
- Proficient in CAD and other relevant design software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Passion for sustainable design and creating aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments.
