Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Main Responsibilities:

- To maintain all department filing systems, whether paper filing or e-filing
- To Archive documents and files
- To print, photocopy and scan documents
- To engross documents
- To coordinate document production with the DPU in London
- To assist with the creation and preparation of files, bundles and e-bibles and paper bibles including production of front sheets and spines
- Review and file/update your inbox/outbox
- Open new clients and matters in InTapp
- To create documents, format slides and input text and graphics using the housestyle
- To update InterAction (our business development software programme) with meetings, travel, contact reports and business cards
- Support fee earners and event secretaries with business development activities as appropriate
- To perform other general administrative work as required.

Requirements

- Would suit a recent legal Degree or legal secretarial Diploma graduate or someone in their 1st legal role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages and additional experience using bespoke software e.g. INTapp Time; Elite etc.
- Outstanding attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in all that you do,
- An ability to communicate with people at all levels,
- A desire to be part of a professional team and to work proactively in helping and supporting colleagues,
- A proven track record in responding positively and promptly to requests using initiative to seek solutions to problems,
- An ability to manage your workload to meet stated deadlines,
- Excellent spoken and written English.
