Role Summary:

Offers the opportunity as an experienced Lead Commercial Specialist to join the team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Reviews, drafts and negotiates country and region oilfield service contracts and commercial documents.
- Works with regional Commercial Specialists and Commercial Managers.
- Serves as a central point of communication with our internal Legal, tax, HSE, quality, finance and other representatives to mitigate project-related risks and respond to customer inquiries.
- Supports corporate contracting policies and guidelines, contract model forms and systems.
- Ensures the DOA (Delegation of Authority) is managed appropriately
- Identifies worldwide contracting trends and improvement opportunities.
- Handles special projects, as assigned.
- Conducts all business activities in accordance with BHGE HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and BHGE Core Values.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 5+ years' experience in Oil & Gas field
- Fundamental knowledge of commercial and contract language
- Procurement, tendering, and/or contract experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products

Desired Characteristics:

- Thorough knowledge and understanding of contracts, pricing, and quotations policies and procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry and customers, as well as the product offering.
- Advanced knowledge of OFS competitive landscape and product offering
- Ability to train and coach others.
