Summary
As a Head Doorman, you are responsible to provide professional and customer-focused service to our guests, ensuring their every visit will become a memorable one your role will include key responsibilities such as:

- Offer consistently professional, friendly, warm, and engaging service

- Ensure guests are greeted appropriately upon arrival in a warm manner

- Open car doors for arriving and departing guests and escort them to the lobby

- Forward all guest complaints or problems to the manager on duty

- Ensure that an effective handover is made between duty shifts

- Demonstrate a complete understanding of the hotel's policies and procedures and service standards and have full knowledge of the hotel facilities and happenings at all times

- Establish, promote and maintain good public relations while meeting or exceeding guest expectations.

Requirements

Qualifications

- Already based in the United Arab Emirates

- Previous experience in a similar role will be an added advantage

- Ability to work well with others in a guest and team-focused environment

- Verbal and written English language proficiency is required, with a second language helpful

- Ability to stand on your feet for several hours

About the Company

Hyatt was founded by Jay Pritzker in 1957 when he purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport. Over the following decade, Jay Pritzker and his brother, Donald Pritzker, working together with other Pritzker family business interests, grew the company into a North American management and hotel ownership company, which became a public company in 1962. In 1968, Hyatt International was formed and subsequently became a separate public company. Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation were taken private by the Pritzker family business interests in 1979 and 1982, respectively. On December 31, 2004, substantially all of the hospitality assets owned by Pritzker family business interests, including Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation, were consolidated under a single entity, now Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
