Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Job description / Role

Key responsibilities:

Lead the design of electrical power distribution systems, control systems, and field instrumentation.
Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards such as IEC, IEEE, and ATEX/IECEx regulations.
Develop electrical single line diagrams (SLDs), cable sizing calculations, protection coordination studies, and load lists.
Lead instrumentation deliverables, including I/O lists, loop diagrams, instrument datasheets, and hook-up drawings.
Coordinate electrical and instrumentation requirements with process and mechanical disciplines.
Review and approve vendor documents for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Provide technical support for procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications & experience:

Bacheloru2019s degree in electrical or instrumentation engineering.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering for oil & gas EPC projects.
Proficient with electrical design software and instrumentation configuration tools.
Solid understanding of hazardous area classification and related project experience.
