Lead metallurgy, corrosion and coating engineer

We are looking for a lead metallurgy, corrosion and coating engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Start date: October 2025
Location: UAE
Duration: 24 months, extendable
Work status: Residential

Advanced expertise is required:

• In material and corrosion in oil & gas project/industry especially for onshore fields - 15 years minimum is required
• In project at all life-cycle stages of project development (basic and detailed engineering, construction, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in materials/metallurgy, chemistry/chemical engineering or related disciplines
• Knowledge of corrosion degradation mechanisms and experience in corrosion monitoring and analysis
• Hands-on experience on corrosion rate calculation on software like Predict, ECE, etc.

The position will include the following missions:

• The job holder assists and reports to the engineering manager
• The job holder is entitled to comply with rules and requirements of project
• The job holder brings support in material and corrosion engineering
• The job holder may have to liaise, as requested, with Iraq affiliate engineering department
• The job holder shall observe strict confidentiality in the performance of his duties
• The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating individually an exemplary behaviour regarding HSSE rules & requirements
