On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a Lead Midwife for a progressive Dubai company.
Description
- Provide advice, care and support for women and their babies during pregnancy, labour and the early postnatal period. This might be done through home visits or telephone/email communications.
- Arrange and provide parenting and health education to clients.
- Give support and advice on the daily care of the baby to new mothers including breastfeeding, bathing and making up feeds.
- Participate in the training and supervision of our newborn care nurses.
- Participate in health conferences and present lectures related to the scope of work.
- Take part in the promotion and marketing of services to maternity unit managers, mums' groups in Dubai and other similar social groups.
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience in antenatal and postnatal care or MDU (delivery unit).
- Experience as lactation consultant is a plus.
- Nursing education: Willing to design and deliver training programs to our nursing team.
- Public speaking skills.
- Caring and compassionate personality.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible and responsive to the unique needs of individual women and their families.
