Job description / Role
Our client, a leading company in the UAE, is looking for a Lead Subsea Engineer to join their growing team in Dubai.
The main purpose of the role is to develop, plan, coordinate and monitor Inspection, Maintenance and Repair programmes of the company’s underwater assets, including but not limited to pipelines, offshore platforms. The Lead Subsea Engineer will have a focus on the management, monitoring and forecasting of the subsea budget and performance. Above all, to ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements during subsea activities.
Requirements
In order to apply for this role, the successful candidate must have the following:
• An HND or Degree in relevant discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong skills demonstrated in contractor management.
• At least 10 years relevant experience in the offshore oil and gas pipeline and platforms industry managing subsea activities.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Certification Scheme for Welding and Inspection Personnel (CSWIP) 3.4U.
• Underwater Inspection Controller certification or equivalent would be an advantage.
