Lead Transportation & Installation (T&I) Engineer - Offshore

Job description / Role

We are Recruiting on Behalf of for Major EPC Company.We are recruiting a Lead T&I Engineer to manage the complete lifecycle of offshore transportation and installation activities for major EPCI projects. You will bridge the gap between engineering design and offshore marine operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operational Engineering: Lead the preparation of installation philosophies, method statements, and procedures for jackets, decks, and topsides.
• Technical Execution: Develop and approve loadout, sea-fastening, transportation, and heavy lift plans.
• Interface Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS), marine contractors, and client representatives.
• Site Support: Provide on-site technical supervision during loadout at the yard and installation offshore.
• Leadership: Guide a team of structural engineers and designers, ensuring compliance with DNV/API standards and project safety targets.

• Experience: Minimum 12–15 years in Oil & Gas, with at least 8 years dedicated to Offshore T&I / Construction (EPCI environment is mandatory).
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Technical Competency: Expert knowledge of heavy lifting engineering, barge stability, and marine operations.
• Software: Proficiency in SACS, MOSES, or STAAD Pro is highly preferred.
• Certification: BOSIET/T-BOSIET (Valid) and PMP are advantageous.

Please Note: Candidates with exclusively onshore infrastructure/building experience will not be considered.
