Learning and Development Manager

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The job holder will be responsible for leading the training function and will be a partner in driving talent management process and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan the annual training budget for the concept
• Monitor budgets compliance and present reports on a regular basis to the management
• Create a process/framework to measure ROI of all training programs
• Research on market best training practices and processes

Training Delivery
• Understanding the business strategy and its future capability needs to identify learning priorities across concept and territories
• Formulate the annual and monthly training calendars for the concept and territories
• Creation & delivery of functional, soft skills and leadership programs for various role holders
• Design training content in line with requirements to ensure effective and high quality delivery of training to employees
• Applying adult learning theories in learning interventions and driving a culture of continuous development
• Driving business initiatives to determine impact of learning effectiveness through engagement and coaching activities.
• Promoting innovative approaches to training through use of digital tools
• Delivering on key training metrices by mapping the number of employees trained during the year on specific areas & monitoring the (%) increase in the Training Satisfaction / Effectiveness Score.
• Delivery of corporate programs

Business Partnering
• Partner with the business to drive and ensuring successful implementation of key projects
• Improve business performance and productivity through bespoke training interventions

• Advance knowledge of various Training tools
• Presentation skills
