Based at the regional headquarters in Dubai, our client is seeking a Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist. This is a new role that will support the HR Director with all training coordination and the onboarding of new employees for a well-established global F&B brand. Our client has extensive business development plans over the next 5 years and it is therefore a great opportunity to join the team now in order to gain further career development for the future.
Seeking an experienced co-ordinator from a retail or F&B environment, this role will encompass full responsibility for all employee training, allowing the HR Director to focus on the overall content and delivery strategy. You will be a proactive candidate with the ability to solve problems quickly to ensure the maximum number of delegates attend each cohort and that every single detail has been considered. This is an ongoing process as new products are introduced regularly, new menus developed and innovative ideas for both individual and corporate customers are designed.
As an L&D Specialist you will also be involved in the onboarding of new employees and their company induction. Therefore, you will be passionate about the brand and the organisation as a whole to ensure new joiners are motivated and trained to perform well in their new job role at all times. This is a busy environment with multiple activities and deadlines to meet at any one time, from candidate liaison and onsite training of small teams, through to evaluation and feedback analysis. It is therefore essential that you have a keen eye for detail and are able to manage your time effectively, alongside constantly striving to improve procedures and training content to enable a first-class employee and customer experience.
Candidates are required to possess proven experience within a HR Learning & Development role where they have been responsible for up to 100+ delegates. You will be passionate about learning and development in particular and it is also essential that you have worked within a retail or F&B environment and their associated L&D teams. Those candidates with a HR qualification, educated to degree standard with fluency in Arabic and English are considered particularly advantageous for this role.
